Jerry has over 50 years of higher education experience in the areas of research and university administration. Jerry has served as the President of the National Council of Research Administrators (NCURA) and is a recipient of The Distinguished Service Award and The Outstanding Contribution to Research Administration Award. He was also the Chair of the Costing Committee and on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Council on Governmental Relations. He has served as an author, co-author and contributing editor on numerous research publications and makes numerous presentations for NCURA, the Society of Research Administrators and others.
Prior to his retirement from Vanderbilt University, Jerry served as the Vice Chancellor for Administration where he was responsible for various facilities, administrative and auxiliary units.
Jerry has a B.S. in Business Administration and Management from Purdue University.
