Phillip started his career in research administration and costing in 2001.  He had worked with numerous higher education, not-for-profit and healthcare institutions assisting them with projects related to the preparation and negotiation of F&A cost rates, compliance issues and resolution, fringe benefit rate development, service centers compliance, effort reporting, organizational assessments, development of policies and procedures, and direct charging practices.

Phillip has a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.
